Born in Dublin 1958

1980-83    Studied Visual Communication at the National College of Art and Design (NCAD), Dublin.

1984         Joined Graphic Studio Dublin Print Workshop and started working as a printmaker in etching

                 and lithography. Worked during this time with many Artists and developed a wide range of skills,

                 knowledge and technical expertise.

1986           Curated A Sense of Ireland an exhibition of contemporary Irish Printmaking, Singapore.

1989-1991  Lectured in life drawing at Dun Laoighre College of Art and Design (DLCAD).

1991-1996  Lectured in printmaking at Dun Laoighre College of Art and Design (DLCAD).

1991-2001   Establised Artemis to promote printmaking throughout Ireland and an income for Artists

                    involved. This included exhibitions at venues including Model & Nyland Museum, Sligo, West

                    Cork Arts Centre ,Skibereen, Yello Gallery Kinsale,The Vanguard Gallery, Cork, Dyehouse,

                    Waterford among many others. Organised eight print group exhibitions in various locations

                    around Ireland as part of the Temple Bar Print Initiative.

1998-2001  Joined the Board of Graphic Studio Dublin Print Workshop

1998            Was one of the initiators and was chiefly responsible for co-ordination of Art Into Art at the

                    National Gallery in Dublin.

2001-2005   Chairman of Graphic Studio Dublin Print Workshop

2002            Was fully responsible for initiating and developing Holy Show in Association with the Chester

                    Beatty Library, Dublin.

Is committed full time to printmaking, painting and sculpture.
